Dental Care

Just as you need to see a dentist regularly, it’s necessary for dogs and cats as well. Your pet’s oral health is directly connected to their overall health. Signs of dental disease include bad breath, loose, broken, or missing teeth, yellow or brown teeth, red, inflamed, or bleeding gums, difficulty or pain when chewing, pawing at the mouth, and excessive drooling. If you notice any of these symptoms, please get in touch with our team, and we’ll be happy to help.

Parasite Prevention

Veterinary examinations and parasite testing are important ways to protect your pet’s health. Let our knowledgeable staff provide you with a comprehensive parasite control program. We can recommend a schedule for parasite testing, discuss what signs of parasites you can look for at home, review ways to control parasites in and around your home, discuss treatment options if your pet has parasites, and many more..

Senior Care

As our pets age, more specialized care might be applicable. Some senior pets might require more delicate consultation depending on their lifestyle and health history. Whether they require medication dosage or daily routine adjustments, we recommend bringing your senior friend in for a wellness exam to determine if such changes are necessary.
Semi-annual examinations are essential for senior pets because they allow us to detect changes in their health that might indicate a serious illness. Since dogs and cats age much faster than we do, their health also changes more quickly, and as they get older, they become more vulnerable to disease. Therefore, we recommend a wellness check every 6 months (especially for large dog breeds, who age even faster) so we can monitor your pet more closely.

Vaccinations

Vaccines help pets live longer, healthier lives. Protecting your pet is our primary goal, so developing an appropriate vaccine schedule for your pet is important to us.

Dermatology

Skin diseases are very common in dogs and cats and can be frustrating and challenging to diagnose and treat without proper knowledge and tests. They can also make your pet miserable. Dermatology is the study of skin diseases and we are here to help ensure that your pet’s skin stays healthy throughout its life. We are knowledgeable and ready to help you walk what may seem like a daunting maze of tests and procedures to get to the bottom of your pet’s skin issues.

Wellness Care

Your pet can benefit greatly from regular wellness examinations or checkups. Whether your pet is a youngster, a “senior citizen,” or any age in between, wellness examinations provide an excellent opportunity for us to conduct a thorough physical examination and develop a health profile for your pet. This information will help us identify medical problems and any other issues that can affect your pet’s health and quality of life.
