After my graduate program I was accepted and completed my Doctor of Veterinary Medicine training at Auburn University and graduated in 2014. I accepted a position as an Associate Veterinarian with the La Grange Animal Hospital and haven’t looked back! I'm one of those kids that wanted to be a Veterinarian since I was a little girl and I set out to accomplish that lifetime goal. You know the saying “get a job you love and you will never work a day in your life,”… so true for me!!! I now live in La Grange with my fiancé, four dogs, four cats and 30 fish! I love my job, and I love serving the Oldham County and surrounding communities.

Veronica Dancy

Head Veterinary Assistant
Assistant Practice Manager

My love for animals began in Florida where as a kid we had the opportunity to care for many different species. I moved to Trimble County Kentucky 10 years ago with my spouse, two children, two dogs and 1 cat. I received my Associates in Science through Jefferson Community and Technical College, and Zoology Certificate Program at the Louisville Zoo in 2016. I have worked at Lagrange Animal Hospital for six years. I am fortunate that I get to wake up every morning and enjoy what I do for a living. I am proud to serve the animals and clients of La Grange and hope that I have many more years in the community loving and caring for your animals.
