If your pet suffers an emergency, first contact us at 502-222-7531. If we cannot assist you, or if we recommend transfer to a 24-hour care facility, call Metropolitan at 502-266-7007. They will provide you with emergency instructions and prepare for your arrival.
Metropolitan Veterinary Emergency Service opened in 2009 to provide after-hour and weekend emergency care for your pet in times of crisis. With the oversight of a board-certified criticalist our emergency veterinarians and staff strive to stabilize, diagnose, and treat patients in an efficient and compassionate fashion.

DIRECTIONS I64 to Blankenbaker Parkway South (Exit 17). Metropolitan is in a red brick building located one mile south of I64, on the left at the corner of Capital Way and Blankenbaker Parkway. Turn left on Capital Way to enter Metropolitan’s parking lot. |
